I met Amy (from Canada), a few days ago in Lisboa (Portugal). Amy was holidaying with Denise (from UK) and Christina (from Denmark) – the three of them met on a tour group (in New Zealand) six months ago: the inter-nationality of travel! Fortunately for me, they all had very fond memories of their Kiwi stay, and welcomed me to ‘crash their reunion party’ for a few hours one evening.
Amy had been ‘on the road’ for 8 months, and has been diligently posting on her blog site every few days. She urged me to pick-up mine again; saying that she now looks back at her one, and is really pleased that she stuck with it. So… I am going to make another attempt.
I’ve now been away for a little over 3 months, and I’m not going to revisit all of the missing history, so you’ll all just have to bear with me!
(Incidentally, Denise had also visited Australia during her travels at the start of the year. When I enquired where she had been she said: “just the two main cities… Sydney and Brisbane”- I have never heard of Melbourne being omitted in quite this way, and I did set her straight!!
